Grown by the ASOPEP cooperative, a regional leader founded in 2013, these beans are the product of a community that has transformed a once-conflict-ridden area into a hub of sustainability, quality, and innovation.

ASOPEP is the largest association in Tolima and the only cooperative in the region with a fully vertically integrated system, managing every stage from cultivation and processing to quality control and distribution. Central to this success is the ASOPEP women’s group—20 women farming 91 hectares of land and producing 165 tons of coffee annually. Many also participate in the Women’s Committee, receiving training in financial literacy, culinary arts, and artisan crafts, further strengthening their roles within the community and industry.
